Description
There is no such thing as the “perfect mother.”
All we can do is try to be a little better than we were yesterday. And in order to do that, we need to fully understand our unique role in parenting. We have to make sure our cups are full so we can give freely and abundantly to our children. In this course, you’ll learn practical ways to be the best mother you can be and raise your children in a healthy environment.
Join us LIVE on Zoom on Tuesday evenings in January to:
- Strengthen your parenting skills and tap into the mother you want to be
- Learn Torah-based methods to be mechanech children effectively
- Improve your relationship with your children as you learn how to better engage with them

CLASS #1: Love comes first
If we could only give our children one thing, it would be love. Children cannot live without love. In this first class, we’ll delve into the essence of love, defining this foundational emotion through the lens of Rashi in Sefer Bereishis.
CLASS #2 Setting An Example
Children learn by example, mirroring the actions they see. Are you modeling the values you want to impart to your children? Is your child learning undesirable behaviors from you? In this class, we’ll discuss how to proactively and reactively create the environment that we want our children to grow up in.
CLASS # 3: The Art of Criticism
The #1 way parents and educators are mechanech children today is with criticism. When communicated incorrectly, criticism can cause irrevocable damage. This class is based on a Sifri in Devarim that discusses the right way to rebuke. Learn how to strategically criticize children for their benefit.
CLASS #4: Tehillim & Tears
All of the time and effort we put into being the best mothers for our children will be fruitless if we do not rely on Hashem to help us. We simply cannot successfully raise children without turning to Hashem for help. Tefillah is the most powerful tool that mothers should be utilizing, and in this class, you’ll learn how to stay connected to the One Source who we need to rely on.
